Rich is as a technology lawyer and legal technologist.

Rich’s legal practice helps clients buy, sell and use data (especially financial data) – and to navigate crypto and distributed ledger sectors business opportunities and problems.

Rich has acted in relation to the largest and most prominent mergers of data businesses in recent years, including preparing businesses for these deals, being on the deal team, and/or assisting with post-merger licensing arrangements.

Rich leads the Deloitte Legal crypto, smart contract and distributed ledger practice.

As a legal technologist, Rich created the Four Corners Intelligence legal information platform which is licensed as a subscription product to businesses that want rich, instant, access to the information stored in their paperwork. Four Corners Intelligence won the FT Innovative Lawyer Award 2019.
